Title: Symptomatic sulfadiazine crystalluria in AIDS patients: a report of two cases. Author: Hein R, Brunkhorst R, Thon WF, Schedel I, Schmidt RE. Journal: Clin Nephrol; 1993 May; 39(5):254-6. PubMed ID: 8513601. Abstract: As the incidence of toxoplasma encephalitis (TE) in AIDS patients increases, sulfadiazine/pyrimethamine combination therapy is broadly administered.
