Abstract: In experiments with 135 white breed-less male rats it was shown that the drinking mineral waters containing sulphate or silic ions promoted the postradiated rehabilitation in the liver after whole-body 5 Gy gamma-ray exposure. The decrease of the rate of lipid peroxidation in hepatocyte membranes, the increase of quantity normal cells and the decrease of quantity dystrophic and necrobiotic cells, the change of haemostasis took place. The iodine- and boron-containing mineral waters were less efficacious in these processes than the waters with sulphate and silic ions.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
