Title: [The correction of the fatty acid composition of the erythrocyte membranes by infusions of fat emulsions following operations on the stomach]. Author: Dzis' RP. Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 1992; 149(11-12):377-80. PubMed ID: 8594804. Abstract: Methods of gas-liquid chromatography was used to investigate the content of high molecular fatty acids in erythrocyte membranes of blood of patients after operations on the stomach. It was established that at early postoperative period the content of high molecular fatty acids in membranes of blood erythrocytes was considerably decreased. Lipid emulsions were shown to be an effective means for correction of the disturbed fatty acid composition of membranes of blood erythrocytes.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
