Title: [The classes, structures, functions and signaling transduction of cytokine receptors]. Author: Lu J. Journal: Sheng Li Ke Xue Jin Zhan; 1995 Oct; 26(4):305-11. PubMed ID: 8745556. Abstract: There are many kinds of cytokine receptors that belong to different receptor families. Most cytokine receptors function as: (1) receptor tyrosine kinase and tyrosine-kinase-associated receptor; (2) receptor serine/threonine kinase; (3) G-protein linked receptor. Following binding with cytokines and activation, the receptors trigger different cascade of intracellular protein phosphorylation to transduction signals, thereby altering the cell's pattern of gene expression and leading to biological effects.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
