  • Title: Posterior fossa meningiomas intimately involved with the endolymphatic sac.
Author: Friedman RA, Nelson RA, Harris JP.
Journal: Am J Otol; 1996 Jul; 17(4):612-6. PubMed ID: 8841708.
    Abstract:
Approximately 10% of all intracranial meningiomas occur in the cerebellopontine angle (CPA). Although their clinical presentation depends on their site of origin, most are first seen with nonspecific otologic symptoms like those of acoustic neuroma. We present two cases of CPA meningioma that were intimately involved with the endolymphatic sac and had symptoms and signs suggestive of endolymphatic hydrops.
