Title: [Infectious mononucleosis with IgM antibodies against cytomegalovirus]. Author: Patrzalek M, Krzyzanowska H. Journal: Przegl Epidemiol; 1995; 49(4):385-9. PubMed ID: 8868197. This can be explained by coincidence of both infections or by nonspecific stimulation of B lymphocytes in the course of mononucleosis. Disappearance of IgM antibodies to CMV after 3 months, and concomitant presence of IgG antibodies after 6 months suggests the former.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
