Title: The role of magnetic resonance angiography in the assessment of intracranial vascular disease. Author: Knopp EA. Journal: Neuroimaging Clin N Am; 1996 Aug; 6(3):769-80. PubMed ID: 8873104. Abstract: Magnetic resonance techniques have a significant role in the evaluation of intracranial vascular diseases; however, to achieve an appropriate diagnosis, a combination of both magnetic resonance imaging and angiography are needed. It is extremely important for the interpreting physician to be aware of the potential limitations of the techniques being used. With this knowledge, magnetic resonance techniques can eliminate the need for more invasive procedures. An overview of the current methods and their applications and limitations is provided.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
