Abstract: Mycoses in the Sudan are still significant and, as well as mycetoma, there are a number of fungal diseases: paranasal aspergillus granuloma, which came into eminence in 1966; actinomycosis; subcutaneous phycomycosis; systemic phycomycosis; post-operative opportunistic infection of the eye with Trichosporon cutaneum and rhinosporidiosis.
