Abstract: Primary tumors of the aorta are rare and are usually malignant. Thirty-three cases are reported in the world literature, of which 2 are myxomas. The diagnosis is difficult and is commonly made postoperatively or at autopsy. We present a case of intraluminal aortic myxoma that presented as recurrent arterial emboli and was managed successfully.
