Title: Benign and malignant tumors of the orbital cavity including the lacrimal gland. Author: Warner MA, Weber AL, Jakobiec FA. Journal: Neuroimaging Clin N Am; 1996 Feb; 6(1):123-42. PubMed ID: 8919138. Abstract: CT and MR imaging are the modalities of choice in the assessment of orbital neoplasia. When combined with the clinical history and examination, radiologic imaging can provide valuable information regarding tumor diagnosis. Imaging studies thus enable the clinician to delineate the extent of disease and plan the surgical approach for biopsy or excision. In some cases, serial orbital imaging is used to monitor for tumor growth or recurrence.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
