    Abstract:
    Analyzes the relationship between morphological features of foci of brain contusions and the mechanism of craniocerebral injury. Specifies the morphological signs of foci of brain contusions developing at the site of "strikes" and in foci of brain contusion forming in the zone of "counterattacks" and presents a quantitative evaluation thereof. The results of investigation may be useful for identifying the circumstances at which the injury was inflicted.
