Title: [The topographic anatomical basis for the surgical treatment of stenosis of the major duodenal papilla or of the terminal portion of the common bile duct]. Author: Shutov IuM. Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 1996; 155(2):27-8. PubMed ID: 8966898. Abstract: An investigation of the topography of the hepatoduodenal zone enabled the author to conclude that different types of operations should be chosen for people with different types of constitution. Double drainage (choledochoduodenal anastomosis) should be used for people with the dolichomorphic type of constitution. For the brachymorphic type of constitution the choledochoduodenal anastomosis only is enough. Papillosphincterotomy is indicated to people of the transitional type of body constitution.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
