PubMed ID: 8983442. Abstract: Etiology of pleural exudates was established in 87 (79%) out of 110 men, in age 18-82 years, mean-51 years. In this group of patients tuberculosis was recognized in 19.1%, neoplastic disorders in 25.4%, infectious-nontuberculous disease in 34.5%.
