Title: Factors influencing the antioxidant activity determined by the ABTS.+ radical cation assay. Author: Miller NJ, Rice-Evans CA. Journal: Free Radic Res; 1997 Mar; 26(3):195-9. PubMed ID: 9161842. Abstract: This study introduces a simple direct antioxidant assay, based on the reduction of the ABTS.+ radical cation, and compares it with the myoglobin/ABTS.+ assay.
