    Abstract:
The action of intrastriatal administration of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) on behaviour of male rats with early postnatal hydrocortisone injections was studied in open field experiments. Bilateral CRH administration into neostriatum significantly decreased the locomotor and exploratory activity. Rats which had been injected with hydrocortisone within the first 5 days of life were characterized by increased locomotion, but the anxiogenic action of CRH in these animals was not observed.
