Abstract: A previously fit 19-year-old male driver was involved in an unrestrained, head-on collision. Transesophageal echocardiography revealed rupture of the chordae subtending both leaflets of the tricuspid valve with severe tricuspid regurgitation and disruption of the interatrial septum.
