    Abstract:
    Staphylococci from skin lesions of goats in Assam, India, were found to belong predominantly to the potentially dermatopathogenic species Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus byicus. These species have not been described as components of the normal flora of the hairy skin of goats.
