    Abstract:
    Observation of two patients treated in the Neurological Department of the Medical Academy in Lublin was carried out because of carbon monoxide intoxication. The analysis of somatic and neuropsychological signs was performed. Neuropsychological examinations were performed twice for estimation of disorders of higher nervous functions. The first examination took place one month after intoxication and the second one after the following next month. In both patients there was observed the impairment of some cognitive functions such as: memory, space orientation, abstract and discursive thinking, visual gnosis, manual praxis, three-dimensional praxis and dysphasia.
