Abstract: The non ulcer dyspepsia (N.U.D) syndrome is a functional disease; according with new concepts obtained from pharmacology and sustented by therapy, the anti H2 drugs (not the antacids one) has an prokinetic action upon the stomach and control the gastric distention which is the cause of the pain, and not the increase of the gastric acidity.
