  • Title: [The possibilities for the clinical use of differentially enhanced electrocardiography in the diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension in patients with congenital and acquired heart defects].
    Author: Moshchych PS, Shef HH.
Journal: Lik Sprava; 1997; (3):115-7. PubMed ID: 9377328.
    Abstract:
As many as 225 patients with different valvular defects, both congenital and acquired, were examined. Measures of pressure in the pulmonary artery by manometric technique were compared with those from differentially potentiated ECG, on which basis there have been established the interval-and-amplitude criteria for diagnosis of the degree of pulmonary hypertension. The above noninvasive technique is superior to others in early diagnosis of hypertension of pulmonary circulation.
