Author: Acea Nebril B, Freire Rodríguez D, Sánchez González F, Fraguela Mariña J, Taboada Filgueira L, Gómez Freijoso C. Journal: Gastroenterol Hepatol; 1997 Oct; 20(8):412-4. PubMed ID: 9410539. Surgery should be individualized but in stable patients abscess drainage should be attempted in addition to resection of the intestine involved. Finally, given the great risk of pulmonary thromboembolism in these patients, intensive prophylactic anticoagulant therapy is required.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
