Abstract: Bacillary angiomatosis is a recently recognised condition that is seen mainly in adult patients with the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Its importance lies in the fact that it can be confused with Kaposi's sarcoma which is now the commonest malignant condition in male adult patients in this country.
