    Abstract:
    A classification of modalities of exenteration of pelvic organs is discussed and standards for optimal procedures of surgical rehabilitation are suggested. Different modifications of pelvic organ exenteration involving removal of the urinary bladder were performed in 29 patients with localized and recurrent malignant tumors. Reconstructive procedures matched the exenteration modifications used. Surgical rehabilitation measures included; reinforcing the fundus of the pelvis, formation of an abdominal pouch for urine collection, a low coloanal anastomosis and vaginal reconstruction.
