  • Title: [The administration of fenamine into the rostral and caudal sections of the rat neostriatum disturbs the realization of conditioned reflex escape behavior].
    Author: Iakimovskiĭ AF, Ryzhova KV.
Journal: Ross Fiziol Zh Im I M Sechenova; 1997 Aug; 83(8):33-8. PubMed ID: 9487047.
    Abstract:
Daily injections of amphetamine during 3 weeks into the rat caudal and rostral neostriatum impaired avoidance conditioning of rats in shuttle box. The data obtained suggests involvement of both parts of the neostriatum's dopaminergic system in avoidance conditioning and complex behavioural actions in rats.
