Title: Superior mesenteric artery syndrome. Author: Ahmed AR, Taylor I. Journal: Postgrad Med J; 1997 Dec; 73(866):776-8. PubMed ID: 9497945. Abstract: Superior mesenteric artery syndrome is a rare and controversial form of upper intestinal obstruction in which the third part of the duodenum is compressed by the overlying superior mesenteric artery. The aetiology, presentation, investigation and management of this unusual condition are discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
