Title: Repair of fractured incisors using a 4-META luting material. Author: Burke FJ. Journal: Dent Update; 1997 Nov; 24(9):358-60. PubMed ID: 9534421. Abstract: The strength of bonds of resin-composite materials to dentine using dentine bonding systems have improved greatly within the past five years. It may therefore be possible to attempt repair of a fractured incisor tooth if the patient retrieves the fractured fragment and attends for treatment. Little long-term data on the effectiveness of this treatment is available but, as materials improve, this approach to treatment of fractured incisor teeth should increasingly be considered.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
