    Abstract:
    Using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, proteins stemming from the nucleus of the donor species in nucleocytoplasmic hybrids were determined. The interspecific lethal nucleocytoplasmic hybrids of Pleurodeles waltlii and Ambystoma mexicanum were studied. The presence of these proteins at the blastula or early gastrula stages attests to the early nuclear control of their synthesis.
