  • Title: The management of intracranial calcified subdural hematomas.
    Author: Watts C.
Journal: Surg Neurol; 1976 Oct; 6(4):247-50. PubMed ID: 968726.
    Abstract:
Calcified subdural hematomas are associated with signs and symptoms similar to those of chronic, uncalcified subdural hematomas. Those found incidentally or in patients with long-standing nonprogressive neurological deficits should be left alone. If a calcified subdural hematoma is discovered in the evaluation of a patient with an acute or a progressing neurological disorder, an operation should be considered.
