Title: Pelvic splenosis mimicking endometriosis, causing low abdominal mass and pain. Author: Zitzer P, Pansky M, Maymon R, Langer R, Bukovsky I, Golan A. Journal: Hum Reprod; 1998 Jun; 13(6):1683-5. PubMed ID: 9688412. Abstract: Splenosis is the heterotopic autotransplantation of splenic tissue that usually follows traumatic splenectomy.
