Title: Torsion of the fallopian tube following sterilization. Author: Ikeda S, Sumiyoshi M, Oki C. Journal: Gynecol Obstet Invest; 1998; 46(4):271-3. PubMed ID: 9813449. Abstract: A 45-year-old woman presented severe right lower abdominal pain. Transabdominal sonography demonstrated bilateral adnexal cystic masses. At surgery, these cystic masses were bilateral simple hydrosalpinges with torsion of the right side. She had previously had tubal ligation. When we encounter an adnexal torsion, we should consider tubal torsion when there is a history of tubal ligation.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
