Title: Tinnitus: etiology and management. Author: Peifer KJ, Rosen GP, Rubin AM. Journal: Clin Geriatr Med; 1999 Feb; 15(1):193-204, viii. PubMed ID: 9855667. Abstract: Tinnitus is the perceived sensation of sound in the absence of acoustic stimulation. Individuals who suffer from it are commonly between the ages of 40 and 80 years. Management of tinnitus is based on an individual approach; there is no single treatment or regimen for it.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
