I take Glucophage for my diabetes and Zestril for my blood pressure, and my doctor says both problems are under good control, but I've developed a very annoying problem. Every time I eat, I develop terrible sweating on my face and neck. It only lasts 10-15 minutes, but my shirt collar gets soaked and I'm too embarrassed to go out to dinner. • 14. Ask the doctor. I'm a 42-year-old man with no health problems, except for the fact that I'm a bit overweight. I recently had an exercise test because of some chest pain. The good news is that it showed no evidence of heart problems, but during the test my blood pressure quickly shop up to 190 mm Hg. Usually, it's about 35/90 mm Hg. The doctor doing the test didn't seem too alarmed, but I'm concerned.

Then he added Prinivil, but I had to stop it because of a terrible cough. Now he wants me to take Lopressor, but I've read the package insert and I'm worried about side effects--especially sexual problems, since I already have problems in that area. • 18. Ask the doctor. My blood pressure is high when I first get up in the morning, generally around 150/80, but always drops back to normal (around 120/60) by 9 a.m. and stays that way throughout the day. I take 150 milligrams of Avapro in the morning and again in the evening, along with a diuretic in the morning. I check my blood pressure at home using a meter that was verified in my cardiologist's office. My doctor says I shouldn't worry about the temporary high morning blood pressure. What do you think?
